There has recently been an uprising of enthusiastic Joomla! developers and users, such as Nicholas Dionysopoulos and parts of the ATAAW community, who aparently want to help the core developers and speed up the process to bring Joomla! 1.6 forward. The article received a provocative title, to hopefully raise some awareness about Joomla! and how you can help.
But in an unprecedented effort by part of the community, which has gathered at our local internetpub 'Alltogetherasawhole', we all pulled together and assembled an exciting new group of folks to put in the effort to make Joomla! as awesome as it is supposed to be. Need to tell you -- I do believe this is the nicest post I have ever read. You make me see that we are developing a strong sense of belonging, again, as a community. I see it all around us, too, in so many people.
That can only mean good things and man, it's about time, we've waited a long time. So much talent and great ideas in this community and we can do amazing things together.
