Follow these instructions to find out how to upload your data into articles using the Content Uploader. These are the minimum amount of steps that are required.
- Create a workbook with the data you wish to upload into articles. Each row used will be converted into one article in Joomla!
- Open up the preferences in the Content Uploader
- Set the "First Data Row". This is the row number on which your article data begins.
- Set columns from which the Section, Category and Titles will be retrieved. If the sections and categories do not exist then they will be created upon upload. You can also choose from existing Sections and Categories by selecting from the drop down menus on the main screen.
- Fill in your intro text format using the WYSIWYG editor to create HTML markup and put column references in placeholders, eg <h1>{A}</h2>...
- Save the parameters
