Display category OR article amount

Display category OR article amount

The joomla section menuitem displays the amount of included categories...
is it possible to get such a counter in the module?

Example:

FirstSecName (10)
SecondSecName (8)
ThirdSecName (17)
FourthSecName (0)
...

Maybe it is important to choose between counting categories and articles.
So, one can decide to show the included Categories OR the total Articles.

Hello rexkramer,

That is a really good idea. We will include this option in the next versions but at the moment I can't tell an exact date when they will be released. You will be notified wink

We just released a new version of the Sections module extended that offers the ability to display the amount of categories within each section, the amount of articles or both.

Hi,
Wowo... thanks for quick reply... That module seems nice..However, my site is not much in range of section name..

I would like to have Categories exteneded which can show total number of article. Would it be possible?
