The free one covers core contents and what you might need for a basic site. You can also export, modify and reupload your spreadsheets for mass changes to your contents. You can do whatever you want with it. GPL baby. The true gem is the pro version though, which allows you to also upload K2 contents, Joomfish translations and much more. Ah heck, just watch the videos. The obvious coup though is to use Joomailer with the Content Uploader.
The process would then be:
- - Create spreadsheet with contents
- - Upload to your site's article manager
- - Create new email campaign
- - Select the articles to be sent out in your newsletter
