campaignmonitor integration for joomla In this release we tackle a few milestones, like template support and draft creation. Simple template conversion from Campaign Monitor is possible. With the introduction of Joomailer templates, it will become even more fun creating newsletters from your site's contents. Read on for all the updates:

We are about 80% done on our way to 1.0 and very excited about our latest features:

• Creating drafts from your Joomla! articles
∘ Insert the introtexts or fulltexts of your articles via checkboxes
∘ Automated link-generation and image inclusion
∘ Template-selection via dropdown
∘ Singlecolumn templates supported in 0.8 (Further types of templates will be added in future versions)
∘ Preview drafts with content from Joomla! backend.

• Template Manager
∘ Easily create and upload your own custom templates exclusive to your clients' sites.
∘ Let your clients download and install the templates of their choice from your collection on your site.
∘ Easily delete templates from the template manager
∘ Preview Templates
∘ Convert existing Campaign Monitor templates in about 10 minutes.

Joomailer opens a lot of further possibilities for designers and web developers. If you or your clients are new to Campaign Monitor but already have an existing Joomla! community (Community Builder/Jomsocial) or opt-in email lists, this will make it very easy to get all the users over into your CampaignMonitor subscriber lists.

Creating newsletter drafts for Campaign Monitor has also never been easier. Just click on create draft, enter the campaign information, select a template, add a custom newsletter intro if you like, check the articles you would like to add, save draft. Done.

The next step is "viewing" your drafts. You do this by clicking on the small icon (View Drafts) in the bar above your main Joomailer menu. A lightbox opens, where you log in to createsend (or your rebranded interface) and continue the process of sending the campaign.

The general management of your newsletter campaigns looks and feels like part of your administration interface. The separate lightbox opens the interface with your branding and a second login before processing payment info.

Why freaked out?

The name "freaked out" does not symbolize our mental state but rather the approach to give our clients the unexpected - the extra edge - over their competitors to be successful in bussiness. That might appear from time to time a little freaked out but if you want plain vanilla work there are plenty of companies out there offering that. We go beyond.

If you have any questions or comments about our extensions or need help to get started please use our forums or the contact form. We will get back to you shortly!

Pro subscribers are advised to use the ticket system to receive premium support.
