Which Joomla versions are supported?
The migration export works on Joomla 3. The migration import works on Joomla 4, 5 and 6. For bulk article uploads from Excel/CSV, all four major Joomla versions are supported.
Can I choose whether to migrate users and images?
Yes. During the export step on Joomla 3, you can choose to include or exclude user accounts and media images. This is useful if you only want to migrate content, or if you are merging content from multiple sites.
Will my original Joomla 3 site be affected?
No. The export is completely non-destructive. Your Joomla 3 site remains fully intact. You can export as many times as you like during testing.
Does it migrate categories and metadata too?
Yes. The migration package includes your full category structure as well as article metadata, so your content is recreated with its original organisation on the destination site.
Do I need database access or FTP?
No. Everything is done through the Joomla admin backend. You do not need direct database access, FTP access or any command-line tools.
Does it support Joomla 6?
Yes. Content Uploader is compatible with Joomla 3, 4, 5 and 6, allowing seamless migrations across all major Joomla versions.
What happens to my subscription after it expires?
The extension continues to work after your subscription expires. You only need an active subscription to receive software updates and access premium support.
Can I use it on multiple sites?
Yes. You are free to install and use Content Uploader Pro on as many websites or domains as you like. Premium support may be subject to fair use limitations.
Is support available in German?
Yes. Support is offered in both English and German. Response times aim to be under 2 hours during normal office hours.
